2. Post 2: Rs.22,000 + H.R.A Rs. 15,000 Rs. 40,000 Maximum pay Rs. 22,000
3. Post 3: Rs.7,000 Rs.15,000 Maximum pay Rs.  12,000

Qualification Details: 

1. Research Associate, Project Officer, Scientist: M.Tech, M.E in Thermal Engg, Energy Engg.With B.E, B.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical Engg and equivalent 
2. Research Associate, Project Officer, Scientist: Ph.D (or)  M.Tech, M.E in ThermalEngg, Energy Engg. WithB.E, B.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical Engg and equivalent
3. Project Technician: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering  (or) ITI certificate in Welding/Machinist/Fitter with  3 years of experience

Important Dates: last Date: 11.02.2013

General Condidation:                                 

1. The Other things being equal, preference will be given to SC/ST candidates.
2. The Co-ordinator has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the announcement.
3. The application on plain paper giving name, date of birth, age, address, full details of educational qualifications (stating the marks, rank, year of passing), community and experience etc., along with copies of certificates, should reach the following address on or before 11.02.2013.
4. The candidates already working in any project at IIT Madras should send their application through the Co-ordinator of the project.
5. The Candidate should have knowledge of purchase procedures, modeling and experimental work.
6. The Candidate should have ability to travel outstation for execution and implementation of the project.
7. The Candidate able to work with senior management and professors
8. The Candidates will be eligible for House Rent Allowance as per Institute norms, subject to eligibility.
